2009 Knesset Elections: 'Kieskompas' Goes Israel

In preparation for the 2009 Knesset (parliamentary) elections in Israel, internet users can compute a voting advice with the Electoral Compass Israel.

The Electoral Compass (Dutch: Kieskompas), developed at VU University by political scientist André Krouwel, is an online electoral tool. The Compass maps a voter's position in the political landscape on the basis of a number of propositions covering various issues. The tool has become so popular in the Netherlands that political parties actually (re)formulate their programmes to catch most potential voters in the landscape according to the Election Compass.

My position according to Election Compass Israel: I'm a 'social-economic leftist, secularist, dove', and I would probably vote - surprise, surprise - one of the green parties, or ... the Arab Movement for Renewal/United Arab List. Guess you can probably guess what my take on the current Gaza crisis is...
